Informal learning: Improving literacy of adult learners

We found out the answer during one of the peer learning sessions held by APCEP – Associação Portuguesa para a Cultura e Educação Permanente.

APCEP was created 40 years ago with the objective of providing Permanent Education through multiple and coherent objectives, among which are the promotion of civic education and the exercise of democracy, preparing for the performance of new social roles arising from the accelerated evolution of society.

Our colleagues from APCEP showed us that one does not need much more than some cardboard, paper and pen to create a variety of interactive tools and activities to support adults in developing their literacy skills.
