What can we learn from each other: CitizensXelerator peer learning sessions
In Matosinhos, Portugal, the partners also held peer-learning sessions on 8 and 9 February 2023.
All partners met with the aim to share their experience, expertise, and resources related to CitizensXelerator in order to prepare the core project team for the work ahead.
In the Peer-Learning Sessions, we focused on the following key topics:
- Entrepreneurial Skills
- Digital Skills
- Personal, Social and Learning to Learn Key Competences
- Financial Literacy
- Career guidance
- Democratic and civic literacy and social empathy
- Enviromental and Climate Education
We covered existing European frameworks and guidelines on the above mentioned topics:
As the project partners have extensive experience in developing key competences (personal, social, learning to learn, entrepreneurship, digital, sustainability), each partner presented a European project they’ve implemented that addressed one of the competences as examples of good practice:
- GrowINg
- Passionpreneurs
- Climate box

These training sessions for the internal team were an opportunity to learn by sharing with others, a very enriching process, and a great example of collaboration. This sharing of knowledge will be a valuable asset for the whole team, as it will enhance each member’s skills and knowledge.
