Citizens Xelerator project published at ICERI 2024 proceedings
The Citizens Xelerator project was presented in the proceedings of the 17th annual International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation held from 11 till 13 of November in Seville, Spain.
With a special focus on presenting the paper Lifecomp cards collection: an innovative tool to foster adults’ participation in democratic and civic life prepared by project coordinator Mentortec.
The Citizens Xelerator project promotes democratic and civic engagement, social inclusion, and lifelong learning for adults through innovative tools and strategies.
A key highlight is the LifeComp cards collection, a set of 12 cards based on the European LifeComp framework. These cards offer up to 16 activities each, supporting the assessment and development of personal, social, and learning competences. By recognizing skills acquired in formal, informal, and non-formal settings, the cards empower adults to actively participate in civic life and address societal challenges.
Aligned with EU objectives, the project strengthens cooperation networks and provides resources to enhance adult education and foster community empowerment, contributing to a more inclusive and engaged society.
