Citizens Xelerator presented at Learners Day in Girona

As part of the Learners Day organized by ACEFIR, the Citizens Xelerator project was introduced to adult education trainers, stakeholders, and local authorities.

The event, held on November 18, 2023, at Casa de Cultura de Girona, aimed to promote lifelong learning and foster commitment from associated organizations.

During the presentation, Mar Montoya (CFA Natura) and Montse Aguilar (CFA Cases dels Mestres) outlined the project’s goals and materials, emphasizing how citizens can become “accelerators” of change. The session facilitated discussions on innovative educational approaches and the role of civic engagement in shaping inclusive societies.

By working closely with adult education professionals, the event strengthened collaboration and encouraged active participation in fostering democratic values.
